Happy new year from the Xylobands team!
2016 was a huge year for us. We’ve been involved in over 200 events across music, TV, film, sport, corporate and private in 40 countries. We’ve teamed up with Nike, Coca-Cola, MTV, Adidas, Capital One, BBC, Toshiba, Mastercard, Heineken, Jimmy Choo, Tiesto and Big Brother among others.
We also successfully launched our brightest and most advanced wristband to date – the MK5.

Coldplay – A Head Full of Dreams Tour and Glastonbury
Coldplay asked us back for their A Head Full of Dreams Tour, which kicked off in Argentina in March. With the band touring the globe, around 2 million wristbands were distributed for the tour during 2016.
Xyloband were created having been inspired by a previous Coldplay set at Glastonbury. So we were delighted to be involved in their headline set this year, with 100,000 wristbands pulsating around the main stage.
Forever Living Global Rally
We were proud to team up with Forever Living for their Global Rally in Johannesburg in April, where 10,000 of our colour change wristbands were on display.
In October we headed over to the US for the Arizona Coyotes season opener, where 18,000 Xylobands were used to full effect in their bowl-shaped stadium. The image below is a very clear representation of the kind of effects we can achieve with our zoning technology.
